This is Yale featured a full roster of zones that showcased tailored Yale solutions for a variety of industries. Among the simulations and live demonstrations that took place, the application of Yale robotic solutions was a key talking point with the new robotic trucks featuring in the Automotive and Supply Chain Solutions zones.
To showcase how Yale® solutions can be tailored to their applications, This Is Yale featured dedicated zones for a wide variety of industries. Yale ambassadors and experts from supplier partners, including Shell, Pyroban, Bolzoni, Trelleborg, Orlaco, Balyo, and RAVAS, demonstrated their in-depth knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by Yale customers and prospects.
Shell showcased their Shell LubeAnalyst offering at This Is Yale. It is a 30 years of Shell expertise health check service for your equipment and vehicles. Regular health checks will value your business by keeping it running smoothly, helps you save money on maintenance and potential lost production, caused by failures which can occur in your equipment & vehicles. It gives you peace of mind that both the equipment or vehicles & lubricants are in good condition. It is a personalised diagnosis service for you.

Discover how using the right lubricant can bring you substantial savings by helping to maximise equipment efficiency, prolong vehicle life and reduce downtime.
Hoppecke presented their “Trak” product portfolio at This Is Yale, a range of lead acid battery and charger solutions for material handling applications.
Hoppecke is well known in the market for their “Trak air” solutions. Trak air is an electrolyte circulation system that allows faster and more efficient charging, as well as reduced water consumption and reduced battery maintenance which altogether contributes to an improved battery life. In order to enjoy these benefits, one requires a Trak air battery accompanied with a Trak air charger
Hoppecke also took the opportunity to inform Yale dealers about their pronto batteries that are now available to order via the Yale aftermarket operation. Pronto batteries are fast moving batteries available on stock, to guarantee a short delivery time to meet market demand.
iForks is the successful wireless scale for forklift trucks, reach trucks and narrow aisle trucks. Performance Line iForks provide a highly accurate weight read-out in 1 kg display steps, and are available in legal for trade version OIML III. Each scale fork communicates the weight lifted with the weight indicator in the cabin via Bluetooth, so completely wireless. The weighing system is powered by robust, exchangeable battery modules. All electronics and power components are exclusively developed by RAVAS for the iForks concept.
The iForks weight indicator in the cabin shows the weight of the load on the forks and offers a complete range of weighing functions: gross/net weighing, total weight per shipment, code entry, date/time registration, and piece counting.
Financing is an important element of the forklift solutions package. At #ThisIsYale visitors had the opportunity to discover the benefits of financing and gain insight into the various financial solutions Yale Financial Services can offer them.
With in-depth knowledge of the forklift market and experience built up over many years, DLL can offer financial solutions to meet your customers’ needs.
Pyroban believes that when you are handling potentially hazardous materials, there are no safe areas as boundaries are not fixed and gases can easily cross from a Zone 2 area into what is essentially a ‘safe’ area. Gascheka duo is a gas detection system that monitors the surrounding area of any type of vehicle, from forklift trucks and pallet stackers to vans and transportation vehicles.
Any equipment fitted with Pyroban Gascheka duo requires a gas test before it will allow the vehicle to start up. The gas test is started automatically and takes between 30 and 120 seconds, depending on the type of gas sensing head. The gas test checks that the gas sensing heads are calibrated correctly, ensuring that your equipment is fully protected before any operation begins.
Trelleborg is the first manufacture to offer a fully non-marking resilient tire produced from an anti-static compound. Gianluca Abbati, Director R&D Material Handling and Construction at Trelleborg Wheel Systems, said: “What makes the ProTex compound really special and unique is the fact it is 100% anti-static due to its unique polymer recipe.
Static electricity is continuously released at any point of contact between the tire and the ground while at the same time eliminating the risk of marking. Our designers took into consideration the high intensity of forklifts jobs and created a solution that is EN1755 compliant”.
Orlaco offers camera monitor vision solutions for all reach trucks, counterbalance forklift and telescopic trucks. Their camera systems are developed with a view to improving safety, efficiency and comfort. An Orlaco camera monitor system gives the operator the extra pair of eyes needed, regardless of the type of forklift truck and the operating conditions.
Industry-leading Balyo geoguidance navigation technology was at the heart of the logistics solutions zone at This Is Yale. With no dedicated infrastructure required, the trucks operated autonomously without the need for any wires, magnets or reflectors, reducing the cost of installation in any operation and virtually eliminating ongoing structural maintenance.
The trucks exhibited had a dual-mode design, so they can still be used manually to complete non-automated tasks, thus, operators can regain control at the touch of a button. This eliminates the need for separate equipment and gives customers the flexibility to accommodate unexpected requirements.
On show at This Is Yale were a range of attachments from Bolzoni. Such as the Meyer multiple pallet handler, which can dramatically reduce handling time, increasing the productivity and reducing costs during storage or loading and unloading of vehicles particularly in soft drink industries, breweries, mineral water bottling plants, brick industries.
The rotator is suitable for all applications where the working cycles require load rotation or emptying of containers, such as in metallurgical, chemical, automotive, recycling, waste disposal and in food processing operations
